Ride Valencia

A flat, sunny city built for cycling

Valencia has more than 200 km of bike lanes, a nine-kilometre park where a river used to run, and a beach you can reach from the old town in twenty minutes. Here is how we would spend your days here.

Routes worth your legs

1.5 h · easy

Turia Gardens loop

Nine kilometres of car-free park in a former riverbed, from the old town to the City of Arts and Sciences.

2 h · easy

Beach & port ride

Malvarrosa, the marina and a paella lunch by the sand — flat, sunny and mostly on bike lanes.

4 h · e-bike

Albufera sunset

Rice fields, lagoon boat trips and the best sunset in the region, about 20 km south of the city.

Local tips

Use the Turia as your motorway

The old riverbed crosses the whole city car-free. Almost every ride is faster and calmer if you drop into it first.

Lock the frame, not just the wheel

Always lock through the frame to a fixed rack. We give you a solid lock with every rental and show you how.

Ride mornings in summer

July and August get hot after midday. Start before 11:00 or head out after 18:00 for the golden light.

Watch the shared paths

Bike lanes are excellent but pedestrians wander. Keep a bell handy and take the seafront promenade slowly.
